Jam Stands aka Jelly Compotes were probably used by Victorians for jam, jelly, marmalades, chutney, relishes or garnishes for meats, vegetables etc.  They are all about 5" in diameter at the top & about 4 1/2" - 6" tall.  Some may look larger or smaller because of the angle of the photo.
Most did not take a lid but if they have a lid, they might be 6 - 7" high.
These are damage free unless an irregularity is noted in the listing.
