as we receive additional information. You can help by sending photos of pieces you know to
be reproductions or by sending us pertinent information you'd like to share.

For much more information on Reproductions, it will be well worth the cost to join EAPGPatterns.com. In addition to Reproductions, they have a lot of good information about EAPG Values and Pattern Identifications.

                                                  Reissue vs. Reproduction
In the world of glass collecting the difference in what is a repro-duction and what is a reissue is debated quite often, especially with regards to patterns such as Recol-lection. To help clarify the issue here are some definitions.
A reissue is defined as a pattern that is produced subsequent to its first production, regardless of the time span and regardless of the maker without any changes to the original molds or plates.
A reproduction is defined as a copy or imitation of an original pat-tern and not being produced from the original molds or plates.

BROKEN COLUMN aka Rattan
BALTIMORE PEAR aka Gipsy
U. S. COIN aka Silver Age

WESTWARD HO! aka Pioneer
by Gillinder & Sons c. 1879
Reproductions and originals in this pattern may all turn
yellow green under a black light in a dark room.

This is the goblet.  The original issue is shown on the left and the reproduction on the right.  Look at the sun, the tall tree on the left, the horns, etc.
Here's the cabin section of the goblet w/ original on left.  Again, study the trees.

Here's the deer, again the original is on the left.  Look at the antlers and the deer's face.
