Victorians were careful to drink their chosen liquid refreshment from the proper vessel. Mostly. But not all Victorians
were all that proper.....
Of course there were dainty Cups for
tea or custard or punch.
Mugs for the more manly touch for drinking
or for shaving - maybe both.
Tumblers or what we now call drinking glasses for lemonade and everyday family use.
Bar ware from which
to drink whatever refreshment tickled their fancy... ales, champagne stems, flip or whiskey glasses, wine goblets, etc.
and of course, there were water goblets,
both Flint and Non-flint.
